On 30 October 2025, members and supporters from across the Northern Territory joined us online for the Landcare NT Annual General Meeting. It was encouraging to see representation from groups working in many different landscapes, all connected by their commitment to caring for nature, place, and people. Together, we reflected on the work carried out over the past year and the shared aspirations guiding our next steps.
The AGM offered an open space for members to raise emerging issues, ask questions and hear updates about our activities.
It also reaffirmed the strength that exists within this network. Every local group and every volunteer continues to shape Landcare in the Territory through consistent, practical action. Caring for land, water, flora and fauna is a shared effort and we recognise the contribution each person makes. Big or small, these actions matter and create lasting impact.
Members are invited to explore the full overview of our work in the 2024 to 2025 Annual Report. The report highlights the projects delivered across diverse regions and the partnerships that supported them.
Acknowledging Those Who Served and Welcoming New Leadership
We extend our sincere thanks to outgoing board members Annie Andrews, Travis Williams and Brooke Ah Shay. Their time, insight and steady commitment have supported our growth and helped strengthen our organisation.
We also welcome three newly elected directors: Ian Hollingsworth, Hari Sharma and Georgina Holden. Their experience, community focus and strong connection to the Territory will help guide Landcare NT as we continue building partnerships, expanding access to resources and supporting local action across both natural and working landscapes.
Looking Ahead Together
As we move into the coming year, we remain focused on empowering communities to connect with nature, share knowledge and take practical steps that support healthy environments and strong relationships. This work grows through collaboration. Every member group and every volunteer plays a vital part in shaping the story of Landcare in the Territory.
We thank everyone who joined us at the AGM and everyone who continues to support this movement. Together, we cultivate the conditions for a future where people and place thrive side by side.
