From urban creeks and coastlines to remote cattle stations and desert communities, they’re protecting the places we all share – clearing invasive weeds in extreme heat, restoring habitats after floods and fires, protecting threatened species, removing tonnes of litter and planting thousands of native trees.
Season after season, they show up. But they can’t do it alone.
Last year alone, NT landcarers contributed more than 12,000 volunteer hours caring for our backyard.
