Come along to a hands-on introduction to the iNaturalist app, a simple, interactive tool for exploring, learning, and sharing what you see in nature.
Whether you are a volunteer for Landcare or Parks and Wildlife, a student, environmental professional, or simply curious about local plants and animals, this session will help you get started. You’ll learn how to use iNaturalist to record and share observations, connect with others, and contribute to citizen science projects.
And you don’t need to know how to identify plants, animals or insects to participate, contribute and learn!
Trainer: Stephen Fricker, field researcher and Great Southern Bioblitz organiser, with support from other local iNaturalist users.
If you already use iNaturalist, your experience will be a big help to those just beginning.
