TNRM invites heavy machinery operators across the NT to attend this free erosion workshop with presenter Darryl Hill, hosted by Stylo Station.

This workshop aims to provide climate smart solutions for heavy machine drivers to improve their skills in forming better roads, tracks and drainage systems, and learning how to repair water and wind erosion damage. It will also cover how to manage and recover damaged land using heavy machinery to restore agriculture productivity.

KEY SKILLS

• Control and repair erosion on tracks, fencelines and fire breaks
• Build strong, reliable fire breaks
• Keep soil and silt in place during heavy rain
• Maintain washouts before they worsen
• Save time and money with smart erosion control
• Form, create and maintain roads
• Build “Whoa Boys” to control water and protect tracks

PRESENTER: Darryl Hill has over 40 years’ experience across the NT, specialising in low-maintenance, practical erosion control using machinery.

BBQ style meals will be provided for breakfast, lunch and dinner by TNRM and Stylo station.
