Territory Nature Podcast Landcare Group

Who we are

We are a volunteer-led group creating podcast episodes about “all things nature” across the Northern Territory and the Kimberley.

What we do

Volunteers based anywhere in the Northern Territory or the Kimberley can get involved at any stage of production. You can use or learn skills such as brainstorming ideas, researching topics, interviewing, recording, audio editing, or helping with promotion.

Episodes are available on your favourite podcast platforms and on YouTube.

Place, People and Purpose

The podcast explores a wide range of local topics, including what Landcare groups are doing, the work of research scientists, and environmental issues across the Northern Territory and the Kimberley. We focus on offering listeners a deeper understanding of subjects that are often covered only briefly, or not at all, by other media.

When environmental issues are discussed, the podcast aims to present balance rather than advocate for a particular point of view. Each episode is reviewed before release to check for factual accuracy and fair representation, with guidance from a panel that includes a Landcare elder, an ecologist, a lawyer, and a media professional.

If you’d like to volunteer, suggest a topic, or share feedback on an episode, please email us.

Our work is also supported by Ethical Adventures Tours.
