SAVE THE DATE (12 & 13 October) for this great opportunity. Landcare NT will be delivering a field day in Central Australia with the aim to improve capacity for conservation and land management for sustainable production and biodiversity on central Australian pastoral lands.
Landcare was very well represented at the Society of Ecological Restoration Australasia (SERA) Conference held in Darwin last week (10-13 May 2021). Landcare NT and three member groups delivered excellent presentations highlighting the achievements and challenges of the individual groups. The presentations were very well received and really made an impact, with much conversation following the sessions.
Landcare NT has recently been awarded $61,100 as part of the recent round of Smart Farms Small Grants.
Landcare NT had an exhibitors booth with the Centralian Land Management Association (CLMA) at the NT Cattlemen's Association Conference which was held in Alice Springs on March 25th and 26th 2021. Madonna Wuttke, Landcare NT's Executive Officer actively connected with groups and organisations
Volunteers working with the Casuarina Coastal Reserve Landcare Group in collaboration with NT Parks and Wildlife have prepared a detailed map of gamba infestations across the Reserve to help in eradication efforts.
