Celebrating Community Landcare in the NT 2023 Just Published!

Landcare NT have now published our 2023 Celebrating Community Landcare in the NT - highlighting a year of amazing work from the wide network of Landcare NT Group Member organisations and volunteers.

This year Landcare NT’s 19 Member Groups held 536 community events and volunteers contributed over 10,000 hours to caring for our natural environment. Thats over half a million dollars' worth of positive on-ground environmental impact across the NT! Landcare activities have included everything from native plant revegetation, weed removal, litter removal and fire control to community education and research. 

Highlighting and celebrating these achievements reminds us of the significant impact that volunteers have in their communities and in their natural environments. Landcare NT members and their volunteers form the backbone of community Landcare and we’d like to recognise and thank everyone who took action to care for the land, water, flora, and fauna across the Territory this year.
