Defunding of Environmental Peak Bodies Disappointing for Landcare

Landcare NT is saddened to hear that the NT Government is cutting funding to the Environment Centre NT (ECNT) and Arid Lands Environment Centre (ALEC).

ECNT and ALEC are long-term, active supporters of community Landcare activities and volunteers across the NT.

Landcare NT implores the NT Government to uphold its commitment to “restore our lifestyle” by ensuring essential, dedicated funding and resources to protect our natural environment and assets.
