About the Barkly Landcare and Conservation Association
Barkly Landcare is based out of Tennant Creek. It is run by a committee of primary producers for primary producers and employs a full-time Coordinator to manage the day to day running of the Association.
The Association can apply for Federal and Territory funding and obtain private sponsorship for natural resource management activities on behalf of members and can be a voice to support members interests in those circles.
It can also be a means of accessing information and there is the potential for on ground natural resource management works and promotion of the region.

Assisting primary producers to access the latest information and relevant research and adopt best practice management techniques
Assisting in weed control – obtaining funding, coordinating and/or participating in on ground works
